Mrs. Robertson

Mary Robertson teaches at the NorthWood Alternative School. She has been teaching for 22 years.

She graduated from Southmont High School and Ball State University. At Ball State she received her B.S. in Family and Consumer Science and a M.A. in Secondary Education.

The NorthWood Alternative School Program provides a positive, meaningful learning experience for students who have not been successful in a traditional school setting. The alternative school strives to provide a safe environment, conducive to learning where students are encouraged to make positive choices concerning their high school education. Students attend either an a.m. session or a p.m. session. Each session houses 15 students who work primarily on PLATO computer courseware that is self paced and mastery based. The alternative school is located at 451 North Main Street in Nappanee

Prerequisites: A student must complete an application. Applications can be requested through the main office, the guidance office or the alternative school. Applicants are then reviewed and selected by a selection committee.
