Mrs. Barkey graduated from Manchester High School and then earned a degree in Art Education (grades 7-12) at Manchester College.
Mrs. Barkey is in her tenth year of teaching. She teaches Painting, Drawing, 2-D and 3-D Art.
Her most memorable moment was getting to talk with her students during a "tornado watch" when everyone was in the gym.
She and her husband Ben have a son, Dylan; a daughter, Aliah; and a dog named Yoda.
