This is Joel Mishler's sixth year of teaching at NorthWood. He teaches Business Foundations, Personal Finance, Entrepreneurship and Accounting.
He and his wife, Kim, have three children: Nic (freshman in college); Zac (11th grade); and Hannah (2nd grade).
He attended Westview High School. He later went on to study at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. He graduated with a degree in Business Management.
He has previously worked as an entrepreneur. He owned and operated a restaurant, bakery, and Bed & Breakfast business. He was a college baseball coach for ten years as the head coach at Glen Oaks C. C. He is currently an associate scout for the Florida Marlins, and a partner in the Indiana Chargers Baseball Acadamy located in Shipshewana.
