Honors and Awards
Yearbook earns top state honors:
The 2009 Indiana High School Press Association Convention proved successful for the Logue staff once again as the 2008 Logue was named the Division 1 Hoosier Star. This is the top honor for a high school publication in the state of Indiana.
In addition to the Hoosier Star Award, staff members were honored in the Harvey Award Competition which recognizes top student journalists in Indiana for their work in their 2009 publications.
Congratulations to the Logue staff. The 2009 Logue has been named a National Scholastic Press Association Pacemaker Finalist. This places the book in the top 52 in the nation. NorthWood was only one of three Indiana schools to receive this recognition. Pacemaker winners will be announced in Portland, Oregon at the NSPA Spring Convention this April.
